Meet the Team
Business Service Manager.
Susan’s background is Education Management. Susan moved into the role of Business Services Manager for the Academy in 2014. Her work focuses on marketing the Health Academy’s unique brand of bespoke high quality Health Care Education and Training ensuring this is accessible to all those who work in health care or aspire to do so.Contact: 01772 524310 / firstname.lastname@example.org
Business Support Officer.
Soo is now in her 20th year working for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust working originally as a medical secretary before progressing onto a more business administrative role. She joined the newly established EBO team in 2014 as the Business Support Officer. As part of her role she ensures that divisional policies, contracts, SLA’s, IG register, asset register, risk register and data sharing agreements are compliant, accurate and up to date.Contact: 01772 524323 / email@example.com
Study Leave Coordinator.
Joanne joined the Trust in 2002 and more recently moved to the Business Team in 2014. Joanne is Study Leave Coordinator for the Trust, providing administrative support to several Specialty Training Programme Directors and Drs in training. Joanne coordinates funding to Nurses/Health Professionals within the Trust applying for Multi Professional Educational Funding and applicants of SAS funding. Joanne coordinates the ‘GP & Hospital Drs Educational Programme’ a series of topical events providing continued professional development. Karen deals with Apprenticeship provider Business monies and supports the Widening Participation team with regards to Apprenticeship funding which the Trust receives. Karen also deals with student tracking/payments relating to the BSc Nursing Adult Programme and supports the Business Team on a daily basis with Event support, updating the Health Academy Website content and equipment ordering for the Education Centres.Contact: 01772 523245 / email@example.com
Olivia joined the Trust in 2016 and joined the Business Team in April 2017 as an apprentice. Having now secured a full time postiton, some of her main duties involve inputting and updating of records, stock ordering, processing invoices, handling education monies, answering the telephone, dealing with email and face-to-face enquiries and responding to requests from both members of the Education Department and staff at all levels across the Trust.Contact: 01772524670 / firstname.lastname@example.org
Web and Social Media Administrator.
Emily recently joined the team to proactively promote all the fantastic work that the Health Academy does. Emily regularly liaises with the Heads of Departments and their teams to see what events, new programmes or courses are coming up and then create content for the website accordingly. Business Administration Apprentice.
Thavid recently joined the Trust in August 2018 as an apprentice.
