Books for your health and happiness
Are you feeling stressed, anxious, or depressed?
Do you want to eat healthier, lose weight and get fit?
Would you like to learn something new or have more fun? The Library’s ‘well-being’ collection can help!
The Library has a growing collection of books to help you lead a healthy, happy, stress-free life. Whether you want to get fit and lose weight, find a new hobby, or overcome a personal problem, the collection has something for everyone!

The collection is available to ALL members of Trust staff and students on placement.
A total of 10 books can be borrowed for 4 weeks at a time. The collection is available at both Royal Preston and Chorley Hospital Libraries.
You can search for books in the collection using the Library Catalogue.
If you would like to join the Library all you need to do is come to the Library at either Preston or Chorley, along with your Trust ID Badge, and complete a short registration form.
You can borrow books straight away.
If there is a book you would like the library to purchase for the well-being collection please get in touch, all suggestions are welcome!
