The simulation team are delighted to announce that the newest dates are available for the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing!
Due to popular demand, two additional dates have been released by the Simulation team for the popular course.
The one day event is designed specifically to train clinical staff in providing psychological first aid and clinical debriefs to staff after they have been involved in a critical incident or traumatic, clinical event.
Participants will leave the course with a full understanding of why debriefings and support are so important to staff’s mental and physical well-being in the aftermath of trauma, in addition to being taught how to perform a variety of debriefs.
The course costs £170, including lunch and is facilitated by a multi-disciplinary faculty who are experienced and enthusiastic practitioners of simulation within a wide range healthcare settings.
It is open to the following:
- Consultants and Senior Nursing Staff
- ST3(+) or equivalent
- ACPs (funded by CPD)
- Band 6/7 Staff Nurses (funded by CPD)
- Allied Health Professionals in Senior Clinical Roles (funded by CPD)
