Lancashire Teaching Hospitals will host its first Enhance Forum Conference on Tuesday, 16th December 2025, at Royal Preston Hospital (EC1).
This landmark event will run from 09:00 to 16:30 and is open to Foundation trainees, trainers, and healthcare professionals with an interest in leadership, quality improvement, and innovation in training.
The conference aims to celebrate achievements in Foundation Training, highlight the work of current FY1 and FY2 doctors, and provide a platform for knowledge exchange and professional development. Attendees will benefit from contributions by guest speakers, trainee presentations, and interactive workshops, all designed to strengthen leadership capacity and drive improvements in healthcare practice.
A key feature of the event will be the oral and poster presentation sessions, showcasing projects from Enhance trainees across the region. Topics of particular focus will include leadership, quality improvement, wellbeing, and personalised care.
Abstract submissions are now invited, with a deadline of Monday, 20th October 2025. Oral presentations will comprise a 10-minute talk followed by 5 minutes of discussion, while poster sessions will provide opportunities for wider engagement and feedback.
The event is free to attend, with lunch included, and represents a valuable opportunity to engage with colleagues, share expertise, and learn from both peers and leaders in the field.
