Are there any car parking facilities?
Education Centres 1 & 2 – Royal Preston Hospital
Unfortunately, we do not have a designated car park for events and conferencing at our Preston site. However, visitors to our Centres may still park in a valid ‘Visitor’ space on the hospital site. A £3.50 concessionary voucher may be available to visitors.
Please email education.rph@lthtr.nhs.uk if you want to discuss event parking whilst using the centre(s).
Education Centre 3 & LIFE Centre – Chorley & South Ribble Hospital
Unfortunately, we do not have a designated car park for events and conferencing at our Chorley site. However, visitors to our Centres may still park in a valid ‘Visitor’ space on the hospital site. A £3.50 concessionary voucher may be available to visitors.

Where is the nearest Car Parking Payment Kiosk?
Royal Preston Hospital Site
The nearest payment machine at Preston is located within the Maternity Unit which is a two minute walk from both Education Centre 1 and Education Centre 2. If you are unsure on directions, please speak to a member of our centre’s reception team for directions.
Chorley & South Ribble Hospital
The nearest payment machine to both Education Centre 3 and LIFE Centre is located outside the Preston Road entrance near to Brindle Ward. If you are unsure on directions, please speak to a member of our centre’s reception team for directions.
