Celebrate the best in Undergraduate Education
On Tuesday 1st October, The Health Academy will hold its annual Undergraduate Teaching Awards Ceremony to celebrate student and staff achievements from the 2018/19 academic year.
The event, running from 4.30pm – 5.30pm, will take place in the Lecture Hall of The Health Academy Centre 1 at Royal Preston Hospital and all Undergraduate medical students and staff are invited to attend.
There will be 15 awards up for grabs on the evening ranging from ‘Best Nurse/Allied Health Professional’ to ‘Best FY Doctor involved in Undergrad teaching’.
The evening will be hosted by the Hospital Dean for medical education Professor Madhavi Paladugu whilst also welcoming the University of Manchester’s Associate Programme Director, Dr Minal Singh.

As well as the awards, all students will be given a free raffle ticket with a chance to win a range of prizes including tickets for an upcoming Preston North End fixture.
The event is free of charge and refreshments, including tea, coffee and cake will be provided.
