This one-day course has been developed to ensure the same high-level of care is practised and maintained through the transfer of a critically ill patient from one hospital through to another. The course is delivered from The Health Academy’s Simulation Suite, one of the most advanced units in Europe. It consists mainly of practical, interactive and simulation based sessions which include:

The course is aimed at Doctors, Nurses and Health Professionals carries 5 CPD points from the Royal College of Anaesthetics.

Critically ill patients are particularly vulnerable and this course will help equip those involved with the intelligence, situational awareness and clinical competencies to reduce the risk.”
The course costs £150 including lunch. Candidates working within the North West Critical Care Network or North West School of Anaesthesia Regional Training are funded Registration 08:30. Estimated finishing time 16:30.
