94 medical students graduate from the University of Manchester

On Friday 15 July, 94 of our final year medical students graduated from the University of Manchester to become doctors, 25 of whom graduated with Honours.

Nicola Brown graduated with the MB ChB Programme Excellence Award and Rohit Krishnakumar, who sadly passed away in 2019, was awarded BMedSci posthumously.

The students undertook all three years of their clinical placements at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which included challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a true testament to the hard work and skills of the graduates.

Special thanks are also given to the staff at LTHTR who have supported the students over the last three years. We now look forward to welcoming a new intake of third year students in September 2022.
