Our colleague Liz Kerr (59), Events Administrator for the Surgical Simulation team based at Chorley, very sadly passed away on Tuesday 25th June 2024, peacefully at home.
Fondly known as “Our Liz”, she was a much loved and respected colleague. Those who were fortunate enough to work alongside her have been honoured to call her their friend.
Her amazing organisational skills, willingness to go the extra mile, coming in early and often leaving late and still managing to keep smiling and laughing, despite everything, was admired by all. We have all been humbled by her bravery and amazed at her tenacity to keep on fighting back against her illness, with a smile on her face, and an almost dogged determination to continue “business as normal”.
Whilst we are all dealing with her loss in our own way, she has left a lasting legacy to those who were fortunate enough to work with her, with many happy memories of love, and laughter, and the imprint Liz has left on our hearts will last forever. Rest easy now “Our Liz”.
Liz’s funeral is on 11th July at 15:30pm at Charnock Richard Crematorium.
