Simulation Team Rock DEMEC!

Earlier this week, our Simulation Team attended the Developing Excellence in Medical Education Conference (DEMEC) to showcase their courses and Mobile Simulation Unit (Simbulance)

The conference was attended by over 800 delegates, many impressed with our Simbulance and lots of interest in our stand.

Karen Scullion, Team Lead and Simulation Clinical Skills Facilitator who organised attending the event said, “The simulation team had a fantastic two days showcasing for the Developing Excellence in Medical Education Conference at the Manchester Central Conference Centre.  The conference was well attended and the team were able to promote their expertise and capabilities to a wider audience.”

“Our stand received a great deal of interest and the team were asked about travelling to different parts of the country to provide simulation and human factors/non-technical skills training.  The team displayed the Simbulance with a live feed from inside, to a screen within the conference centre, showing the capabilities for training medical professionals whilst mobile in an ambulance.”
