We are delighted to announce that Lancashire Teaching Hospital’s Apprenticeship Team have been nominated for the category ‘Commitment to Skills’ at the Red Rose Awards, the UK’s biggest regional business awards.
After rigorous selection processes, six companies in each of the twenty one categories were invited to Burnley Football Club’s Turf Moor to present their cases in person to independent judging panels.
The award requires all nominees to have demonstrated ‘a clear commitment to skills both internally and externally… with clear strategies on maintaining and enhancing skills and strategies for the retention and recruitment of staff.’
The team will find out TOMORROW on Thursday, 9th March whether they have been successful! The winners being announced at the awards ceremony, he at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, in front of an audience of more than 1,000.
Department Head, Jackie Higham, who will be attending the ceremony with her colleague Sophie Foster, shares what the nomination means for the team.
‘We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Red Rose Awards. For the hard work and dedication the apprenticeship team demonstrate, recognition such as this means a great deal.
