As a Teaching Hospital, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have dedicated clinicians and nursing teams who are there for you 24/7 whilst on your clinical placement. You will build relationships with the teams and as you progress through the course, you will find speciality areas that interest you more than others. The MBChB degree course allows you to follow your preferred pathway by providing preference placements throughout each speciality, allowing you to focus on areas of medicine you enjoy and building on your knowledge. With your clinical Supervisor you may be invited to write publishable educational papers and even be invited to local, national and/or international conferences to display and talk about your work and your achievements.
