This half-day course is aimed at Nurses, Health care providers, other professionals, parents/carers and family members who work with or care for children with Tracheostomies.
The course is aimed at teaching an awareness of Tracheostomies, the care required and management of emergencies involving patients with a tracheostomy.
It is recommended that those caring of children with Tracheostomies should have a 2 yearly update when not utilising skills daily.
