The week commencing 28th June 2021, saw The Health Academy at LTHTr subject to formal review of its Matrix Accreditation, a unique quality standard for organisations to assess and measure their advice and support services, which supports individuals in their choice of learning, career, learning and life goals.
Providing an industry standard for the provision of effective Careers Education, Information, Advice & Guidance (CEIAG), the rigorous and robust process, held across three days, comprised of over 40 discussions with a selection of stakeholders and saw a number of strengths across the Trust identified and appraised.
Upon completion of the process, the Assessor, highly complementary in her feedback covering the Trust, staff and learners, praised our “genuine commitment to education”, “huge range of learner support”, and “commitment to quality and compliance”.
Retaining this accreditation shows the hard work and dedication of our staff, as well as the amazing support services provided by The Health Academy for our Learners.
We are dedicated to being a great place to work and learn, and pride ourselves on offering excellent support services to our learners.
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals CEO, Karen Partington, said “I can only add my congratulations.
“I know how hard this has been to achieve in the middle of a pandemic which makes it even more of an achievement!”
