On 2nd July, LTHTr Staff are invited to partake in the national ‘NHS Big Tea Event’ to raise money for the Trust’s official, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity.
The event will be held at 2pm in Mellors’ Restaurant in Education Centre One.
Attendees will be able to purchase, drinks and cakes, take part in a raffle and a tombola to win one of the prizes on offer and celebrate the day with games.
The day will be cash only, so remember to bring yours!
If you are unable to attend but would like to support this fantastic cause anyway, feel free to offer your support and donate to the official Just Giving account.
100 % of proceeds go directly to the charity, to assist the fantastic work they do.
The event is not only open to staff, but anyone who wishes to attend, so make sure to spread the word and invite friends and family to support the great cause!
Event Organiser and Allocation Team Leader, Nicky Henderson, says:
‘We wanted to raise some money the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals charity, the money will go to where it is needed most within LTHTR. Helping our patients any way we can is why we want to raise some money.’
