The LTHTr Undergraduate Medical Education Team was delighted to join the University of Manchester Medical School in celebrating the Year 5 Graduation Ceremony, held on Friday 11 July 2025 at the historic Whitworth Hall in Manchester.
This year, an impressive 99% of students successfully graduated, with 15 students achieving honours. Among the many accomplishments recognised on the day, Sophie Mitchell received the Outstanding Achievement Award, while Hadiyat Oguntai proudly graduated with a PhD in addition to their medical degree.
Reflecting on the occasion, Professor Madhavi Paladugu, Hospital Dean at LTHTr, shared:
“It was a privilege to witness our graduates on such a special day and to meet their families. Supporting these students through their journey from Years 3 to 5 has been a genuine pleasure for the Undergraduate Medical Education Team. Seeing them now take the next step in their careers as doctors fills us with immense pride. On behalf of LTHTr, we wish them every success for the future.”
