Digital Listening Event to demonstrate Trust’s innovative learning opportunities

The Health Academy are delighted to share that LTH’s very own Blended Learning Team are to host a Listening Event to showcase the digital learning opportunities on offer to students and learners within the trust.

The event, which is to be held via Teams at 1pm on Monday, 10th July, and is open to all those within the ICB.

There will be presentations from both Lancashire Teaching Hospitals and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust to demonstrate the impact of such learning platforms, illustrating their best practice, new technology and innovative solutions that can transform the way that learners are taught.

With Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB being regarded as one of the most progressive NHS digital facilities, this is a fantastic platform to develop an online space for shared access to resources, discussion, innovations and case studies.

The presenters are as follows:
· Catherine Lamoon , Senior Clinical Photographer (MI) Blended Learning, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals
· Kelly Cassidy, Medical Graphic Artist Blended Learning, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals
· Xinlin Chen, Content Developer Blended Learning, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals
· Helen Punshon, Project Lead Simulation , East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust

According to event lead, Kirsty Stephenson, the Listening Event is vital to the future of education within the ICB and that there is no ceiling to the possibilities of digital learning. She says. “The biggest part of our digital transformation is changing the way we think.”

A precursor to a planned digital showcase event in October, this is a wonderful way to get a taste of the exciting digital learning opportunities that LTH has to offer. There is an open invitation to all within the Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB, along with Higher Education Institutes and Learners.

We can’t wait to see you there!
