Our multi-million pound simulation centre at The Health Academy, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is a world-class learning facility. We deliver award-winning multi-disciplinary clinical training and education programmes using a range of the very latest high-fidelity manikins.
We develop and deliver bespoke training packages for clinical staff of all disciplines, as well as providing undergraduate and postgraduate medical education programmes. Take a look at our video to find out more.
Training is developed and provided by a qualified, multi-disciplinary team that can create bespoke learning programmes for any clinical learning requirements.
Mannequins are controlled by clinical staff during training sessions and learners who aren’t actively involved can observe virtually in covert rooms to review their peers working through scenarios. Alternatively, assessors are able to observe learner performance. Recording facilities allow for learners to participate in debriefs to provide a rich learning experience.
