Whether you are an adult or young person, securing an apprenticeship in the NHS provides you with a fantastic platform to develop yourself and shape your career.

Apprenticeships are work based programmes that enable adults and young people to gain nationally recognised qualifications across all levels through a mixture of on and off-the-job training.  An Apprenticeship is designed to enhance your level of competency and confidence, allowing you to develop your practical skills and knowledge in the workplace.

To ensure you are apprenticeship ready and have a better understanding of careers within the NHS we recommend that you thoroughly research the area you want to work in.  You can do this by visiting NHS Health Careers, speaking with friends or family who work in the NHS or attending one of our many careers events.
