This team is at the forefront of a transformative journey, working tirelessly to expand opportunities, innovate training programmes, and support our students and trainees like never before.
Together, we are shaping the future of healthcare, ensuring that the next generation of registered healthcare professionals is equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to provide outstanding care for our communities which we serve.
This team has been created to support the Clinical Placement Support Team in continuing to provide excellent support to all clinical placement areas and support to all of our learners within the Trust, as well as working innovatively to explore new placement areas and expand the capacity of our learners.
The Placement Expansion Support Team’s ethos is driven by every step forward is a step towards excellence.
The Placement Expansion Support Team, comprises of:
- Placement Expansion and CLiP Lead.
The Placement Expansion and CLiP Lead orchestrates the growth of clinical placement opportunities and implements the Collaborative Learning in Practice (CLiP) model, fostering an enriching, hands-on learning environment for learners and trainees.
- Learning Environment Improvement Lead.
The Learning Environment Improvement Lead spearheads initiatives to enhance educational settings, ensuring they are conducive, supportive, and innovative for optimal learning experiences within healthcare training programmes.
- Placement Expansion and Digital Lead.
The Placement Expansion and Digital Lead drives the development of clinical placement opportunities while integrating cutting-edge digital solutions to enhance the training and learning experiences for learner and trainees.
- Placement Expansion Coordinator
The Placement Expansion Coordinator manages and coordinates the logistics and administrative tasks related to expanding clinical placement opportunities, ensuring seamless integration and support for both students and training sites.
