In this section
Your Medical Workforce Officer will arrange with your department to complete an online Trust induction.
The programme is presented by a mixture of clinical and non clinical speakers and each is an expert in their chosen topic. The induction is a full day and a mix of presentations via Vimeo links and Trust mandatory core skills training on Blended Learning & should be completed before you work in the clinical area.
You should receive your IT access and details on collecting your ID badges from your Medical Workforce Officer.
In addition to the below induction, you are also very welcome to sign up to the Trust Welcome Event – details of this can be found via the Trust e-learning site.
Locally Employed Doctor Induction Programme
Please see below for the programme for induction day. Trust induction is MANDATORY for all new starters at LTHTR.
Please ensure you complete the declaration form at the bottom of the page to confirm you have compelted the morning of induction.
For the afternoon of induction, this will be time to complete the mandatory core skills. We have listed modules required below, however your individual departments may have departmental specific modules that you will also be required to complete.

All modules can be found on the Trust’s e-learning site (Blended Learning) either under mandatory core skills or using the search function.
There may be additional modules required that are department specific. Rota teams should allocate you time to complete all of the above modules as part of your Trust induction.
