Despite a strong research presence in our Trust, Allied Health Professionals are under-represented in developing and publicising “home grown” research. Library and Knowledge Services (LKS) and Research and Innovation (R&I) wanted to work together to enable staff to develop the knowledge and skills they needed to access information and create new evidence. The Facilitating Research Amongst Radiographers through Information Literacy Workshops (FARRIL) began in May 2016. We’re now rolling the project out to other teams, and we’ve renamed it the Research Engagement Programme.
This website showcases the work we have done for the project and is where you’ll find our session plans, exercises and presentations if you’d like to run something similar in your organisation. If you’d like to find out more about how the project was funded and developed, you’ll also find our project proposal, reports and conference presentations.
Please contact us if you’d like to find out more, either if you’re a department within LTHTR wanting to work with us, or if you’re an Information Professional wanting to run similar sessions in your organisation.
